 2026 Historic Volkswagen Club Events

*If you would like to display your Beetle on any Club Displays or suggest an event then please let us know by contacting the Web Master in the first instance whilst our Display Managers positions is vacant.  We will note down which member will be supervising our display at each event in case you want more information.  The Northern events are organised by Neil Dickens.


We are turning up at the following events please let us know if you would like to join us so we can arrange a display area and/or stand.  We have placed other events in the Google Calendar, and will also email about them closer to time to see if others would like displays at other meetings.  If there are any events members are attending that are not on the list, but would like other members to attend, please let us know so that we can add them to the Provisional Calendar.

Biggar

A provisional space has been booked for club cars for both the Saturday and Sunday.  Neil will need confirmation of attendees by 30th April.


Sunday 24th May

Dubs in the Middle - Aircooled Sunday

Brookfield Farm, Evesham

This show is offering free entry to drivers of Aircooled vehicles to the Sunday of this event.  Please contact Dan if you want to be part of a club display, and he will either book an area, or arrange a local meeting place, to meet up before travelling on to the event, so cars can be placed together as they enter.

Ripon Classic Car Gathering

Ripon Racecourse

Neil has booked a stand for up to 10 cars, please contact him to reserve a space.


Sunday 6th September

Field of Dreams

Escrick Park, York

Neil has provisionally booked a club space but will need numbers by end of June


Sunday 13th September

Pebworth Party in the Park

Pebworth Village Green

Dan will be attending this event, and can arrange a small club display if other club members wish to attend.

We are still looking for a volunteer to assist with running displays at shows, so if you want to become our Displays Manager then please get in touch.

Even if we have no Display Manager, we are interested in ideas from members for any event they want to attend as a club, or from event organisers who are interested in more Historic VWs attending their events.

Members should get in contact with us about which events they would like to attend with a club display, so that we can plan in advance and try and get it in the magazine, before the event takes place.
